If I can give a negative star I would
If I can give a negative star I would. I had the worst experience with Bloomingdale in regards to a missing item. Customer service and support only tells you the same things over and over again but doesn’t do anything to help you. For over two weeks now I’ve been told to wait, file a claim then wait again. With reps telling me that they can’t refund/reship the item because I did it too many times in the past and my account has been locked. But this is the first time ever that I called in and filed a missing package. Whenever I asked for proof and evidence on the claims i “submitted” in the past, they never show detailed information and would only repeat themselves on saying they can’t refund or reship the item bc I did it too many times in the past. Total waste of $3k and half of it I paid with a gc which means it’s unlikely that I will get my money back. If anyone has a suggestion on how they were able to get this back, please let me know.
Don’t shop here. Waste of money
On-line shopping
One line shopping is awfull. Merchandise comes in stages and then to go and pick it up at the store I had to call a manager to get the people to do their job. If you don't have barcode which I had the print out and they could have looked it up with my name and phone number. The employee working the on-line area did not want to help so everything he typed in my name and phone number was wrong so he said I cannot find it. When they found my merchandise I returned it immediately because I was disgusted with the shopping experience.

Bloomingdales did not give anything for return.
I returned a gift using the online form. The online form indicated that I would receive a gift card once it was returned. They sent me an email saying they receive it, but not Bloomingdales refuses to send the gift card. They simply kept the merchandise. I have contacted them repeatedly, and they refuse to send it. I gave the order number and all relevant info about the address/name of the recipient and sender but they refuse. They just keep asking for the same info over and over again, perhaps, hoping I will give up.

Forced to Pay $5 Fee to Make Telephone Payment
This time and first time I went to make a payment online, they don't take debit cards, or Venmo or PayPal for payment. You need a routing and checking acct number, which I don't have a checking acct. So I go to call and make a phone payment. Automated system does not take debit cards, or Venmo or PayPal either. You are forced to talk to CS rep and pay $5. Bad business practice!!! And to boot, they won't add the $5 into the current payment you are making, but will send it on your next statement. Then it goes back to square 1 of making that $5 payment. Yes, I could have mailed in the payment, but this time it was too late for that. The CS rep had the audacity to say I could mail in the payment and save the $5, but for the group that I'm in, no checking account to write a check, we have to go get a money order that costs up to $5 and a 60 cents stamp. And that turns out more than the $5 fee for phone payment and just keeps this vicious circle going. I am closing my Bloomie's acct once I get the statement for the $5 fee. I'm over it!!!
Not that bad
Made my order on Sunday and receive my order on Thursday. they send my order by USPS not UPS, although the link they send is a UPS link. I did see lots of bad reviews about missing packages and it did not happen to me. I received my Rakuten cashback within 2 days after I made the order. Overall the web is fine as my order is around 100 dollars not really expensive.

I was charged $29000 for a jewelry…
I was charged $29000 for a jewelry purchase that was never received
Bloomingdales said they delivered
How can they deliver an expensive item like this without contacting an actual human to receive it if sign for it
Now it’s lost in transit and I have a hefty bill on my credit card UPS punted the claim back to Bloomingdales because most likely they didn’t pay for insurance
This is the biggest form of unreliable delivery I have ever experienced
From Bloomingdales it was completely unexpected
I disputed charge with just credit card but ideally Bloomingdales should not be cheap and ship without insurance or signature required method and then careless about the customer
Unbelievable reliability and lack of accountability
Pits customer service
I ordered a gift for my husband for…
I ordered a gift for my husband for Christmas. Tracking showed it was delivered. I looked all over and did not locate a package. I contacted Bloomingdale’s about this issue and they refused to send a replacement item or issue a refund. I contacted my bank. They opened a claim and stated Bloomingdale’s should not be refusing to send a replacement item or issue a refund.
Think twice on ordering from this company. Seems they’re scamming left and right.

Missing luxury bag and got no refund/replacement
Order Chloe bag and other brand bags. It was missing one Chloe bag in package which is cost $2k. One of customer service request replacement /refund and got denied. I called and they sent request again. I got an email asking I want refund or replacement. I told them refund because It's been 2 weeks and I already got new one in store. Next day, got an email said DENIED again. WHY ASK?
Wasted of time and money.
Absolutely worst customer service ever
I have never ever written a review of anything, good or bad, but the online customer service experience of Bloomingdale's is so totally horrible I had to post. I opened a charge card for the 20% off. I returned some of what I purchased but they removed the 20% from everything I had purchased. I called to share that it needed to be deducted and they said it was taken care of. It was not. I also had value on a return card I wanted to use against the balance. I called and the representative said it was done and posted. I didn't think I owed a balance as a result but again, it was not done. So not only did that not happen I was turn late paying my bill for which I was charged a fee. When I tried to call again to resolve which was on my vacation because I got a late payment notification the customer service was awful. Poor comprehension by the representative and no one could answer my questions and I was passed around. I used to love to shop there but it's just not worth it.

Missing package
Missing package
Ordered a $1,190.00 Mackage coat, UPS says it was delivered at front door and it was lost! I called Bloomingdales and was told I need to wait 48 hours while they review the issue, so I called back to follow up and was told it was approved and I should see the refund by the 29th. So today 12/29 there’s no refund, I called and was told the claim was declined on 12/23 and that I was not getting a refund.
The customer service rep escalated the issue to another department and it’s going to take another 48 hours however; they advised that I call my bank which I didn’t want to go that route since it was a legitimate order that I placed, but ended up calling and it’s now being disputed and have to wait 7-10 days.

Bloomingdales lists themselves on…
Bloomingdales lists themselves on Rakuten, and you think you can save money and get cash back by shopping through their links. But Bloomingdale’s purposely lists their items as “out of stock” to avoid paying the Rakuten cash back fees. They also delay shipping their orders so they aren’t required to pay you the fees on Rakuten. They will also cancel your order. When you call to try and get your order reinstated they will of course place a new order without the tracking link. I was defrauded by Bloomingdales and lost over $50 that I should have earned on cash back through Rakuten. This company engages in unethical, and misleading behavior for the purpose of defrauding consumers. I will never order from them again.
I love their selection but their items…
I love their selection but their items simply take way too long to ship and make the purchase not worth it, I never receive the item in time for the event and their customer service is impossible to get a hold of.

Horrendous customer service
This business has questionable practices for the consumer: i qualified for a promotional gift card based on a purchase and then they lowered the balance of the gift card by $100 when i exchanged a few items for other items. Mind you i actually spent more in the exchange and paid additional money but they claim i return items from the first order and took 100$ away. To make matters worse, when i contacted via e-mail they were completely unhelpful and told me to call customer service. 4 agents put me on hold and rudely hung up on me, while the 5th one actually had the professionalism to understand my situation but told me there was nothing she could do — it is the store policy. STAY AWAY
Dissaster
I ordered a glass bowl set (10 pieces) the box arrived to my door, I lifted it up and the entire box was full of shards! Every single bowl cracked to smithereens! I contacted them and they refused to have someone pick it up. Now what was I supposed to do with pieces of glass all over the place? Completely rediculios and absolutely dangerous
